DBD Nuclear sponsors Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club at the Horse of the Year Show 2009
DBD Nuclear has recently contributed £500 towards Cheshire Hunt North Pony Club’s trip to this year’s Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), which took place earlier this month at the Birmingham NEC.
The sponsorship money was specifically allocated towards the Pony Club’s musical ride team, who performed several displays throughout their week at HOYS, in front of up to 6,000 spectators. Well done to all the participants!
DBD is proud to be involved with the Club at an exciting time; the HOYS trip also coincided with the Pony Club’s 80th anniversary.
Different by Design is now DBD Nuclear in the Nuclear sector
Different by Design have been offering specialist engineering and technical services to the nuclear sector since the company was founded in 2004.
Now, in line with the company’s strategic focus on continued growth in this sector, Different by Design are rebranding to become DBD Nuclear, with effect from 1 October 2009.
Apart from the name change, the company will be changing its corporate identity and will also launch new website.
This name changes coincides with some new contract wins and extensions at DBD. Most recently, DBD Nuclear was part of the successful consortium which will be delivering the next stage of design and programme management for Sellafield’s planned SIXEP Contingency Plant. DBD Nuclear is already responsible for commissioning strategy and management for Sellafield’s new Evaporator D

New West Cumbria office now open
DBD Nuclear is pleased to announce that our new office in Westlakes Science and Technology Park, Moor Row was opened for business in September 2009.
We decided to relocate to Ingwell Hall in order to expand our West Cumbria operations at a prime location in the Park.
It is ideally placed for our continuing work in this area with our key clients, and the development of relationships with new clients and partners.
DBD Nuclear have long-standing links to West Cumbria, having previously been located in Fleswick Court, also at Westlakes.
