Nuclear Commissioning

The DBD Nuclear team includes senior commissioning specialists who bring experience from nuclear projects at most of the UK’s major nuclear sites as well as at international sites in countries such as the USA, Germany, Brazil and Japan.

Most recently, DBD’s commissioning work has included chemical processing plants, Highly Active Liquid Waste evaporators, Uranium Enrichment plants and a range of mechanical handling and storage plants.

Our commissioning solutions and services are always bespoke but typically involve our team taking lead responsibility for commissioning strategy, preparation of test documentation, development and preparation of Maintenance & Operation manuals, training of commissioning and operational staff and the management of the whole of the commissioning process and its interfaces with other projects at nuclear sites.
